Eleanor Everett Schneider has a doctorate in history from the University of Notre Dame. After teaching for several years, she worked as a fellow at Liberty Fund and is currently a Scholar in Residence at the Newberry Library in Chicago, where she is working on a book on schools during the English Reformation. Much of her remaining time is spent educating her two daughters.
