West of Shakespeare as Political Thinker (2000), editor of Areopagitica and Selected Political Writings of John Milton (1999), and the author of Shakespeare’s Understanding of Honor (1990) and a book on Homer and Virgil, Divine Initiative and Heroic Response (1995).
